04 Feb SWxNW Finishing this Week
We’re really excited to be finished up our Highlands project, which the homeowners have dubbed “Southwest by Northwest.” We’ll be posting professional photos soon, but earlier this week we had to snap a few photos of our own because the sunset was just too much to pass on.
The home has amazing views of the Sisters and Mt. Bachelor and the warm glow of the sunset is reflected in the warmth of the home’s interior. Material selections, finishes, and the overall style of the structure all contribute to the inviting and comfortable feel of this home. As tasks are completed and all the small details come together, it was too hard to resist snapping a few more photos of the interior.
The Kiva style fireplace in the master bedroom adds to the Southwest feel of the home. That warmth is carried into the master bath via the reds of the Venetian walls in the shower and the earth toned stones and tile.
The ‘Baja Room’ has beautiful Mexican style tiles and large windows facing east and west. It’s a perfect place to watch the sun setting over Broken Top.
