Homeowners David and Lexi Kelly’s custom home just west of Bend, Oregon was designed by Tebbs Design Group. A Modern European Farmhouse just west of Bend, Oregon, this contemporary take on an iconic design encompasses elegant spaces to entertain, relax, and work. Built with stunning views from the core living and outdoor spaces, this home has an elegant simplicity. Yet, it is also has so many special details: brickwork, timbers, antique elements, and modern finishes. The entry door and fireplace are some of the homeowners personal favorites.

Kim Schroeder from Tebbs Design Group and homeowner Alexis Kelly collaborated closely throughout the project to bring Alexis’s ideas to life. 

There are a lot of decisions that can come at you quickly, so it’s okay to accept defeat on a few surprises and just roll with them. The entry door and fireplace surround are both examples of getting it right despite what would’ve appeared to be a setback. We waited months before finding out that our supplier couldn’t accommodate our Entry Door specifications. After panicking, we did a little research and were able to find a source in Sisters, they were able to give us exactly what we had envisioned for this home. Similarly, I fell in love with a Limestone at a local stone yard for the fireplace surround, this was a departure from the original product specified. It took a lot of time, patience, and a great design/build team to get it done and installed.
