This home was originally designed to be built as a speculative home though it was purchased by Rip and Cindy Carlton and their family before construction began. The Carlton residence is a 3014 square ft home which has an additional 630 square feet in the carriage house above the detached garage. This home was built with the architecture of an Arts and Crafts style home and includes extensive wood and stone-work throughout, timber-frame details in the Great Room as well as the exterior façade of the home, and designs that focus on livability and efficiency throughout.
