10 May Connecting to the Outdoors with Simple Elegance
When we set out to build this home, we wanted to create a space that would feel fresh and open. Nestled into a quiet Tetherow neighborhood, this house is surrounded by natural views with a blend of native and designed landscaping. Large windows and outdoor living spaces create a connection to the outdoors and add to the simple elegance of this this NW Contemporary Home.
We wanted to construct a house that would become a venue for boisterous family gatherings as well as quiet, contemplative hours. The great room, dining room, and kitchen space are perfect for entertaining – with your favorite people gathered around the large kitchen island or in front of the fire. Built-in style and function make it just as easy to relax. With two flex spaces to choose from, you can imagine the sun coming through the large windows into a dedicated yoga space or reading room.
There are so many great features in this home; it’s hard to know where to start. The kitchen includes Jenn-Air appliances, lots of Caesarstone counter space and sapele wood cabinetry. A sliding barn door leads to a large pantry.
From the Kitchen, you can see the fireplace – with its continued use of sapele reaching up to the high ceilings and a chic concrete mantel and hearth. The hand distressed, dark chocolate, birch floors compliment the exposed structural beams. The classic color scheme is made complete with posh modern fixtures.
The sleek lines and details continue throughout the house, including the beautiful tile and contemporary fixtures used in all three and half baths. The bath in the master suite includes a freestanding bathtub, private water closet, and an amazing shower that includes a rain-head, wand, and a Moen ioDIGITAL vertical spa.
All of these features come with the peace of mind that this home is built by Timberline Construction and we stand behind every aspect of our work. Contact Shelly Swanson for purchase details.
