12 Aug Concrete at the Shevlin Home
The last few weeks have seen a flurry of work at the Shevlin House as the project nears completion, including the extensive concrete hardscapes which include a zen garden, patio areas, pathways, and driveway.
The concrete has integrated color with a continuous, 4 foot cut-pattern throughout all of the flatwork. In some areas, an exposed aggregate finish has been achieved with a sugar-based etching process. (Sugar is used instead of more toxic etching product.) The remaining areas have a light broom finish.
