21 Oct Sweetwater: New Sustainable Construction Along the River

We’ve begun work on a very unique and sustainable demolition, construction, and remodel project along the Deschutes River in Bend. This custom home project includes green building elements including rainwater catchment, net zero efficiency goals, and ecologically conscientious construction practices – protecting the river that flows directly by the home and selecting materials with a light footprint.

Working closely with the homeowners and the designer, Lawrence Schechter, we have deconstructed a portion of the existing home, poured a new foundation, and are ready to begin under-floor framing.
