05 Apr Underway: Tetherow Traditional
Construction is well underway for this new home in Tetherow and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you during this summer’s COBA Tour of Homes.
After spending the winter laying the foundation and constructing the building envelope, we’re now working on the visually rewarding things like painting and installing interior elements. One item on our agenda this week is choosing the exterior paint colors and getting painting underway. As with all the homes we build, we are as concerned with the integrity of the overall structure as we are with the stylistic details. Paint color and accents can make a big difference in the overall aesthetic of a house. Even after choosing the final colors for this home, we’re still reviewing the accent options and consulting with our designer and our painter.
The project architect, Christian Gladu Design, has worked closely with us to create this classically styled home. The traditional architectural design is combined with more contemporary uses of space like an open great room, dining, and kitchen area. The floor plan creates beautiful spaces while the functional layout makes the home elegantly livable. It will have three bedrooms, including a master suite, three full baths, and two flex spaces (one upstairs, and one on the main level) that can be used as office space, children’s playroom, guest room, or even a yoga space. The three-car garage is flanked by a side-entry mudroom and laundry.
Located in Tetherow, a premier golf and recreational planned resort community, this home is less than 10 minutes from downtown Bend and just a few minutes from the biking/hiking trails. When completed, it will include 2671 square feet of interior living space and 1100 square feet of exterior living space. It has and 800 square foot garage and is located on a 15,250 square foot lot.
